Indie
Here’s a list of indie projects I’ve either finished, will probably not finish or am currently working on in my spare time.
Airborn – 2008 (WIP) |
An Unreal Tournament 3 total conversion that takes place in a beautiful world on flying islands. This is a 3rd person adventure that utilizes custom toon shading and lighting techniques. |
Session 1: FoG – Summer 2008 |
This is an entry to a rapid prototyping competition held over at www.shmup-dev.com. It took me about two weekends of coding (and GIMP using) to create this and it’s got some pretty nice game play twists to it. The main rule: The player is not allowed to shoot his own bullets. |
Viking Jam – Autumn 2007 (SGA Warm-Up) |
Viking Jam is my entry to the Swedish Game Awards Warm Up competition. The goal was to create a game and make it as fun as possible with a one week deadline. This was pretty fun to take on and I consider this game to be pretty finished, as it wasn’t intended to get bigger than it already is. There is a total of 8 different tricks you can do with a cool futuristic viking on a hover board. Go ahead and try it out. |
Tetriminix – Summer 2007 |
This was a small, 2-day programming project I made this summer. I have done many projects in my time but never finished anything. So this little clone was made to have something completely done for once. The game is made with the XNA Framework so you need a bunch of stuff to download if you want to play it. Here you’ll find links and more info on what you need, if you’re interested in testing the game. |
Battle of the Evil Saucers – Spring 2007 |
Spring 2007 I took a course at Uni where we had to design and code a game in around 15 weeks. This is what came out of it. A fast-paced arcade/RTS game where the player controls a UFO and commands (indirectly) ground troops in order to capture the opponent’s base. The game was nominated for “Best Game Concept” at the Swedish Game Awards 2007. |
